Frequently Asked Questions

Our answers to the plumbing, drain and sewer questions we get most from Brooklyn homeowners, landlords and co-op residents.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We offer free estimates on most plumbing jobs, so you’ll know the price before any work starts.

Are your plumbers licensed?

Yes. Your job is handled by our licensed plumbers, so you can feel confident it’s done safely and the right way.

Do you offer emergency plumbing service?

Yes. We provide emergency plumbing service across Brooklyn and Queens for urgent trouble such as burst or frozen pipes, serious leaks and basement sewer backups, the kind of problem that shouldn’t be put off.

What plumbing services do you offer?

Our plumbers cover the whole range of home plumbing: water heater repair and replacement, clearing clogged drains, hydro-jetting, fixing or replacing sewer service lines, sewer camera inspections, and everyday plumbing repairs covering toilets, faucets, hidden leaks and gas piping, plus backflow testing.

How quickly can you get to my home?

We treat prompt service as a priority, and urgent plumbing problems go to the top of our schedule.

What areas do you serve?

We’re based in Brooklyn, NY and cover the whole borough, from Park Slope, Williamsburg and Bay Ridge to Bensonhurst, Flatbush and Brooklyn Heights, plus neighboring Queens. Not sure we reach your street? Call (929) 421-1815.

Can I call you with questions after the job?

Yes. We take pride in each repair and installation we do, and we’ll gladly help with any questions that come up afterward.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call us at (929) 421-1815 or send a request through our website’s contact form, and we’ll respond promptly to set up a time that works for you.

How much does a plumber cost in Brooklyn, NY?

Pricing depends on what’s wrong, which parts are needed and how long the job takes. Most jobs come with a free estimate, and you’ll get the price up front before we start, so the bill won’t surprise you.

How long do water heaters last in Brooklyn?

A standard tank water heater usually lasts around eight to twelve years. New York City’s water is relatively soft, so heavy scale is less common, but sediment still settles in the tank, and a yearly flush helps. If yours leaks, rumbles or puts out rusty water, book a water heater inspection.

Why is my water bill suddenly so high?

A sudden spike usually means a leak, most often a toilet that keeps running, a dripping faucet, or a hidden leak in a wall or an aging water service line. Shut off all your fixtures and watch the water meter. If it keeps turning, we can pinpoint it using leak-detection equipment and make the repair.

What should I do if a pipe bursts?

Close your main water shutoff at once (in an apartment, alert the super or landlord), cut the gas or power that feeds your water heater, and get valuables out of the water’s path. Then call (929) 421-1815 for emergency plumbing.
